UBI is the only policy listed that also benefits those who are not displaced by AI, including those who keep their jobs but perhaps see reduced income. It's important that we all benefit from any AI-driven GDP increases, because all our work went into the AI training sets. We all deserve our share.
Voters also support regulations to protect workers and the public from potential harms of AI, including giving the government a 30-day review window on new AI models (69%) and penalizing companies that use AI to set prices or wages (62%).
