Highly stylised art of Warframe Harrow, whipping himself. Since discussion keeps growing & spilling way beyond socmeds & gets to spiral over & over, I have to clarify this since I don't want to dwell in it in case if somebody will want to talk about it.
I'm very well aware that Antireal didn't invent the style, I literally was learning history of design for more than 4 years (and keep learning as it is endless stream of creativity).
But what y'all do not understand that for general public that style will now be "Marathon style" from now on, including all the negative connotations, which is unfortunate both for game's genuine artists, style itself & game respectively. I'd prefer artist who embodies that concept with their work to be one of the modern faces of a style than game which may not even release, as sad as it sounds..
Bungie's respect towards artists kept dwindling as they are on their 5th known plagiarism case right now & I'm sad to see that but cannot deny that my own respect towards them dwindled accordingly.

Picture shows two dragon characters - Riven and Chroma - from Destiny 2 and Warframe respectively. Riven is playful like a giant cat, teasing Chroma to make a wish. Chroma is not amused. It looks like they are posing for a photo, but I will leave it up to interpretation.
It's fun to make occasional joke crossovers like this. Work was made for Inktober in 2019.

Picture depicts young maiden steadily working with soldering-iron to repair her arm prosthetic. Mechanical arm is heavy and was remade many times, so it looks chaotic and disjointed. She keeps it at desired angle with a thin, but tough bandage around prosthetics' wrist, ends secured in her mouth, while repairing crude wiring.

(I type this while my phone’s display instantly becomes wet from snow & wind, which didn’t stop for 3 days & counting)

Artwork depicts: public yard with small tree alley, turned into improvised parking lot, shown from POV of person walking there in the morning. It’s winter, everything is covered in snow. Almost everything is white, black or gray, including surrounding homes and cars. Atmosphere is chilly, but calm. Time to go to work.

Two unfinished artworks of character Mathila from Warframe, left is from 2023, right is a redo from 2025. For redoing this piece I used light tablet to trace over good parts of my own work & fixed bad parts.
I heavily use references and encourage other artists to use them. This is not cheating. And if you need to trace your own work to fix it or make it better on paper - think about it like making layer over sketch in photoshop. It’s harmless & saves time. Do not let others to convince you that artistic shortcuts are bad.
(That does not include generative AI in any shape or form. Even if some creatives want use it on themselves/their work only, results look good only because millions of works were scraped without other artist’s consent. So fuck generative AI, there is no ethical consumption of it in current landscape. If you reached this far, thank you for being considerate reader of my ramblings.)
