I wouldn't blame him. There for us in the bad times. He's been a stalwart and got one more decent contract left but needs to be playing. Gets injured now and it's all over. Let him go on a free in Jan if that is what he wants and he goes with our best wishes and gratitude.

I’d imagine he and the club have sat down agreed it’s best for him to move on and neither party want him to get injured and end up staying

Let him get his payday in Saudi or the MLS, then back for a testimonial when he retires. Not the best player technically but never gave less than 100%, never shyed away during the bad times, and clearly loves the club. I'll always remember him calling out the lazy players "nobody gives a fuck"
