Bit Corp Bingo was my first video game console. Originally, we were going to buy a Nintendo, the same console as my rich neighbor whose father was a spirit medium. My mother and father went out to buy a video game console and they came back with this. All I can remember is that the box looked like a fruit box and my parents actually tricked me into saying they couldn't buy a console and instead bought a box of fruit. I remember the joystick was like that of a plane with a button on top and a button on the base. The first game I had was River Raid, it was really boring, no patch on Nintendo. In those times, information was few and far between. I'm sure my mom and dad had gone to a small video game store and tricked by the owner into buying this instead of a Nintendo. It really upset me, and that's why 40 years later. The memory is as clear as it was that day. Eventually, I did get a Nintendo, and we threw the Bingo out.

NTDEC, whose full name is Nintendo Electronic Co. (Chinese: 任天堂電子有限公司; pinyin: rèn tiān táng diàn zǐ yǒu xiàn gōng sī), was a Taiwanese manufacturer of cartridges, accessories and original games for NES and Famicom. For both they also manufactured converters to play Famicom titles on the NES. The company was founded in 1983 (according to the Asder official website), but in the 80's its activities were and are still today unknown.

Notably, the Bit-70, Bit-79, and Bit-72 were planned to be distributed in the United States. The Bit-72 was rebranded as the ironically named Pirate MKII and features the text, "PIRATE MKII WILL ACCEPT CARTRIDGES MADE TO OPERATE WITH NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM™." and "NINTENDO AND NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM ARE TRADE MARKS OF NINTENDO AMERICA INC. The Bit Corp. mascot was also changed to a pirate. Though it seems that Bit Corp. only released it in Mexico distributed by a company known as Promotora Mine, S.A. De C.V. If the systems were to of actually hit US store shelves, then Nintendo would of likely taken legal action against the company.
