🤣🤣🤣 🎯 Each European country shows it's own problem as an impossibility of EU to resolve especially it's problem... 🥵 What we see - one of the 26 or 27 countries, as many as there are, says that the Union is bad because it cannot satisfy one. 🤣🤣🤣 The rest are somehow satisfied.
Well now! That sounds like it makes sense.
Ollongren is half right. "Too much national interest" is the symptom. The cause: zero-sum thinking, no cost for inaction, and fear of Washington. Gaza makes that visible. Until the calculus changes for politicians personally, nothing shifts.
Europe's biggest problem is trying to appease America instead of going it's own way.
Nationalism is a mental illness! One for all, and all for one!
Disturbingly accurate. Local politicians never learned to think European. They grew up locally, making careers in one-country parties with a national programme. They never learned that the EU is their space of living and treat its institutions as a tool for national, or even nationalistic goals.
