In 2005, I had the incredible honour of walking in the VE Day anniversary parade here in Ottawa with my late Father-in-law (he was an aviation mechanic in WWII stationed in England). We walked from the Cenotaph to the War Museum with 100s of other veterans. An incredibly humbling moment.
