david barsky @davidbarsky.com · Nov 26 i mean, it straight-up said “don’t touch the eye” and “go see a vet immediately, this is an emergency”. the fact that it said that, even if the prompt is written like one of her records, is very good her clients are already relying on ai tools, and if this is what they see? could be way worse.

It gave correct advice *that time.* It won't do that every time. Even it gives the right advice 9/10 times that means 10% of animals will be mistreated because people were relying on the advice of a device that has no idea what it's talking about.
like, she’s had multiple clients who wanted to refuse vaccines for their dogs because they didn’t want their dogs to get autism. if ai get those people to do the right thing, then i can’t be too mad about this use case
