Some hapless NXT prospect has to portray something he or she might not be comfortable with and recite lines given to them. But in AEW, you have a special kind of bad gimmick. The kind where the person not only has thought of this gimmick, but believes in their heart of hearts it's great. Chris Jericho puts on clown make up and wears a funny hat and believes he's this badass killer. He did that promo with his full chest, so excited about the return of the Pain maker that I can't help but smile at the silliness and lack of self awareness.
