The entire idea of this "Triumphal Arch" is nothing more than a vanity project for a man with an ego the size of Jupiter and a brain the size of a walnut. It should never even have been considered, let alone advanced to the stage where public comments are solicited. It is gaudy, ugly, and, quite frankly, an embarrassment. The US is already being laughed at for the ridiculous preening of this so-called "president" but appeasing his delusions of adequacy is beyond the pale. In short, this should never have been considered. But now that the spineless sycophants at the NPS have given in to the desperate fever dreams of this dementia-addled narcisists attempt to aggrandize himself, let's just all take a breather and then quietly ignore the entire thing before anything crazy happens and you actually approve this monstrosity.
