This might seem crazy, but I really wonder if the GOP will even contest #GASen this year. Collins managed to raise just $2 mil during a quarter that included both the primary and the runoff. It would take at least $100 million in outside spending to ... do what exactly? www.ajc.com/politics/202...

😂 those are small numbers compared to CA Senate campaigns, particularly if it ever ends up D-v-D after the primary, when the two candidates would spend a billion$ total. That's where the GOP is dumb contesting them, like in the CA Gov race: it's over and we know our next Gov is Xavier Becerra.

This is like a minor thing, but it’s really gonna make it harder to skim the news with two Republicans named Collins running for Senate!

Collins lost his primary in the district he has been “representing”, he sucks so bad

I mean, I think they've got to contest it given there's also a very important gubernatorial race, too. Throwing in the towel here means you lose the gov race and kill any possibility of redistricting.

Really only would be if they didn't want a potential prez nominee to be able to run up the score.

I can also see some GOP infighting where Trump demands the Senate GOP spend money there and they tell him to drop MAGA Inc. cash instead if he cares so much
