terrible things have been done to the hair model in order to contort it into the shape of a ponytail. It looks like it's made of shards of hair-colored glass.
This is a unity screenshot of default Winter (W:/nter) standing next to a copy wearing a different outfit: "Sweatsuit Set" for Manuka. This version also has translucent skin, through which you can see a skeleton - another prefab being used for testing. Both outfits were adapted to fit Winter through the use of a custom mochi-fitter profile.
the first part of this video shows (best avatar base) Winter's blender project, zoomed in on her eye to show off improved textures. Then, it switches to the project where the eye texture was rendered. It's set up for ray-traced rendering using cycles. The model is a few overlapping curved surfaces, and there's a bunch of floating stretched spheres floating above it. These spheres reflect on the model as highlights and shadows to create an image that looks similar to an illustrated stylized eye. In addition to the spheres, there's also a bunch of tiny dots - these are particles that create a subtle starry background, which is only visible in the eye if you look very closely.

Unity project of the best avatar base Winter (W:/nter) in play mode. She's rotated about 70 degrees about the z-axis, and her hat is being toggled on and off. Her hair becomes more loose and flowy when the hat is turned off, as the behavior of her hair physbones changes dynamically.

This is a render of Winter, an avatar base I've been working on for a while. The framing is medium close-up, cropped at the bottom of her eyes. She's wearing a dark gray jacket, which has been made semitransparent along with her skin, allowing you to see her internal components. The materials have transparency overlap turned on in blender - this causes some visual bugs that make her internal parts render in the wrong order. I thought it looked cool. The lighting and background is mostly light gray, with very subtle blue and pink lights.
