A small area of a crowded suburban town bursts forth with the beauty of spring. Bright green grass with bright red poppies and other wildflowers give an overwhelming rush of color to the concrete wasteland just out of the frame. It's a shame to think that the earth could look like this everywhere, instead of the soulless and lifeless suburban sprawl most humans know. End of rant. Enjoy the poppies. ❤️

I used a remote to capture a picture of myself looking out over Toronto. Another tourist in the frame is walking with a camera capturing the view as well. It was a cloudy day and there's a light fog enveloping the buildings below. A mirror on the ceiling enhances the experience.
Looking up, branches covered with white blooms nearly completely hide a bright blue spring sky. Bradford pears make this kind of display early each spring.

The sky during a sunset. The clouds are glowing bright with pink, violets and touches of gold. The permanent, pale blue is still there behind it. The sun will set, the clouds will move on, but the blue will always remain. Sometimes the most dramatic moments are the most fleeting, but they can still be something to marvel at. And to learn from.
