Positive Steam review for Ostranauts, translated from Russian: "I hired a gray-haired man with the tag 'elderly' (he's 30 years old) because he was the only one on the entire station, including the police, who could walk in a bulky spacesuit without getting debuffs. But he turned out to be a cunning alcoholic who would run to another part of the ship to drink wine after installing each piece of wiring. Finding him once again unconscious in an alcohol coma halfway with a screwdriver in his hands, I started looking for the source of the alcoholic beverages, as I genuinely thought he had drunk everything long ago. It turned out that a shell obtained from an old yacht's bathroom was filled with wine. 10/10" Steam purchase: Yes Hours on record: 266.4h

Old Man Wesley Castillo — 4/16/2026 10:27 AM So I hired a pirate, and we developed romantically. But it was pretty hard to get her to do any useful amount of work, and eventually I had to fire her. I let her go with a set of tools, her EVA suit with a spare battery, a couple days of food and water, and left her on OKLG. A few days later I get held up by a pirate and it's her, in a tiny little junk heap of a pod. We had a past so it was easy to talk her down, but I told her no, get off my ship. So she did, and we undocked. ...and then that pod started accelerating. Directly toward the Sun. Gently, but constantly. She was doing better than 5 km/sec when I lost track of her, and there is no way that pod had that much N2. So the spurned lover supernaturally flew off into the Sun. Emokis: 7 Salutes, 2 red hearts, 2 fires [in character] Sometimes, when I see the Mariner floating out there, I'm pretty sure it's really Cassidy. And I check my suit seals, because I'm pretty sure Space is angry with me.

Sneak preview of a new EVA suit coming in the "Fire in the Hold" update. A head-and-shoulder cropped image of an EVA suit with bulky, white panels over a black base. The helmet is significantly wider than the standard Ostranauts EVA, and features a gold-hued reflective visor.

On the other side of the thruster and wall, a small, metallic room made of dark, blue-gray metal. Across the room, another wall and thruster mirrors this side, and another bulkhead with conduits is on the right side. But on the left side of the room, a regolith wall intersects the floor. Square fastener patterns are set into the floor at intervals, and a motor and heat sink lie discarded on the floor. Some sort of sensor is built into the right wall, and more room is faintly visible beyond. The regolith wall from the previous image is labeled in white text, now at the bottom right of this image.
The green EVA suit is now floating just below the three nozzles of an RCS thruster. Its light amber shaft extending upward into a flat, gray-blue wall with some striped, yellow conduit along it. A cluster of small rocks floats just next to the nozzles, and a large, regolith wall dominates the right side of the screen, occluding the stars.
