I use Twitter Control Panel, so my UI is quite pre-Musk! I also prefer muting accounts over blocking since it protects my peace w/o restricting people from seeing me.

I save blocking for bullies, predators & those who are actively giving me a hard time. Anyone who I wish to cut contact with due to repeated harmful behaviour, essentially. My new year's resolution is to protect my peace. That said, I'm open to having good-faith conversations & wish you all well! 💙
