Yesterday evening, I finished Final Fantasy VI! Finally! After 23-24 years 🎉 I LOVED it, but contrary to the other 5 FFs, I didn't fall in love instantly. I played the game back in 2000/2001 and made it to the World of Ruin, but I stopped here for reasons unknown. #finalfantasy

I enjoyed the World of Balance back then, but replaying it via the Pixel Remaster made me increasingly frustrated. There was little room for discovery, and events were very predetermined. After Zozo, it opened up a bit, and when the Magicite thing started I got a bit of customization.
