I wanted to finish it before its birthday, and I didn't. But that's alright. I'm exactly where I left 24 years ago. At the beginning of Disc 4, before the final dungeon. But I took my time. 50 hours in and still so many side quests to solve. Pretty sure I'll finish it by the end of this week.

Square Enix is releasing so much new FFIX art prior to its birthday, it's unbearable for fans who wait for a remake. But it's also SO SO good. Toshiyuki Itahana is amazing.
