A WIP ref sheet for my sona, Kess Deblight. She's an Aqualgamate (working title) which is a unique species where terrestrial animals are given aquatic traits and are able to form symbiotic relationships with other marine life such as coral, algae, barnacles, jellyfish, etc. Kess is a fennec shaped aqualgamate. Her coloration is predominantly blue with yellow sclera, orange claws, and a colony of sunset colored branch coral on top of her head for contrast. Her hair is deep violet with a neon purple highlight. She has gills on her neck and under her breasts (hidden in ref), axolotl frills on her cheeks, and spines on her shoulders. Her tail is a live jellyfish which will hide and unfurl its tentacles according to how safe Kess feels. Kess; neck is almost always covered by the collar of her possessor where it resides. The eye center piece on the collar, as well as the violet mark on her back can animate to implicate where the parasite is looking.
