Time to reward the alt text readers with the context as to why this is insanely lewd! The device on Orion’s back is secondary nervous system and he can feel it like any other limb. Usually it registers as painful if someone touches it but when Z (his bf) touches it, it’s very sensual. Z’s very much a fan of giving touches of affection soooo yea. Sometimes you gotta make your stern cyborg BF horny recreationally. I was very intentional with how I drew that grip :)

Orion Everett was a medical doctor of some renown who specialized in post traumatic injury reconstruction/augmentation. He would moonlight as a professor if the “intro to augment installation” position was unfilled in a given semester. Xav (who belongs to ImBlue2) is Prof Everett’s student in this piece. He’s defending his semester long project, which are the cool bat wings! This professor is notoriously hard to impress so hopefully Xav gets the passing grade!!

Context: Cygnus is an amnesiac and doesn’t know how to process Orion assertions that they’re brothers. His usual reaction is to just shut down those assertions because pursuing that dialogue tree just leads to more questions than answers. Orion’s operating on a mountain of anecdotal evidence that this is *probably* his previously thought deceased brother but ultimately it is just a guess. His willingness to correct himself from “our” to “my” is at the very least conceding his hunch could be wrong.
