Despite falling short of TMT and SPM's additions, the set's wacky combinations of species and class has brought bangers such as Dog Warlock, Fractal Crab, or even Giraffe. We also have our first and only Dellian card, of course.

However, that's not all! SOS has added a whopping six (6) net entries to unique mana cost, the most in quite a while. ECL and TMT mostly reduced this tag by creating repeats of hybrid costs, but the new A{A/B}B cycle and some odd additions like 1UURR and XGGU came in quick to save the day.
