This is mainly due to the copious amounts of quirky Villains and Heroes of various professions and species, but there's also some rather normal type lines, like Cat God, Monkey Assassin, and... the only Shi'ar so far.

As for unique costs, we see a slight net increase brought on by cards like Alien Invasion, Power Pack, and The Coming of Galactus, although some hybrid and multicolor cards have lost the tag (sorry, Voracious Hatchling).
