I'm still taking it easy, but the fact a majority of my apartment is in storage, is quite a relief. I'm replacing certain items, nothing terribly big. I'm still tied to my laptop

I am actively living in a neighborhood, growing incredibly dangerous as the years pass on. My car was broken into last year, my mail had been stolen, other people's cars have been broken into, people have nearly set my apartment building on fire. The last thing I truly fucking need is genuine bullshit when I'm trying to get out of this current neighborhood I'm in. You look like an asshole

I have to move from my place within the next month, and that requires breaking my lease. I have already consulted legal consul and waiting to hear back because the current place I am staying in is not safe for me anymore. My car was broken into last summer, which my apartment complex barely did anything about. My sink flooded and overflowed, causing damage to my items and under sink damage, I was ignored by the emergency maintainence team to the point I called the company directly. My windows do not lock and they have a block of wood blocking off potential intruders that could come in. I live on my own. I have very violent neighbors that have broke things in the hallway and have argued/yelled many times within the past year. I've let my leasing office know that the washers and dryers don't work in my building and they just do not care. I'm tired of fighting it. I'm overpaying for a place, let alone I have been feeling unsafe for a while now, it's just not worth it anymore. Any amount helps, and I have another place lined up, I just have to pay the security deposit and I need to cover other moving expenses. Thankfully, the place is not far from me. I am working on comms this weekend. I have a long weekend, but yeah. That's the state of everything that has been going on recently. The goal is just $2500. That's the goal just in case they try to make me pay termination fees. If anything changes I will update.
