Just ignore that I suck at soldering so badly that the bottom PCB has extra plastic spacers in addition to the metal ones, because I couldn't get it flush with the mess on the underside of the main board, and one corner is just a stack of three plastic because I lost the metal

I think I need a new soldering iron tip, there were several times when it simply would not wet and just formed a massive blob on the end of the solder wire that refused to connect to anything. Or better solder. Or both. But I have a bench PSU again - and I can set it down without shorting it 🙌
