Some TypeScript code that teaches the compiler how to find, at compile time, all of the names used in a tree of named tree nodes, grouped by parent and leaf nodes. Why? Because if I use an incorrect name, I want it to be a compile error instead of a test failure. Why? Because I'm crazy apparently.

Hello, I'm writing to inform you that I have cancelled my Nitro subscription as a direct result of Discord's decision to roll out age verification globally. While I appreciate the steps you have taken to mitigate the privacy issues posed by such a system, the fact remains that any such system is inherently invasive in a way I find unacceptable. I am not comfortable with the idea of uploading my government ID to a Discord-operated service, nor am I comfortable with Discord using AI to try to draw inferences about my age or other demographics based on my behavior on the platform. This global roll-out is not required by law. So the fact that Discord has taken this step makes me question whether it is a safe place for minority groups like queer, trans, and non-white folks—folks who, especially in the current political climate, prefer not to share unnecessary information about themselves that may be stolen and/or used in ways they do not control. If Discord reconsiders the roll-out of this feature, I would be happy to reconsider subscribing to Nitro. Best, Des
