As has been noted already in the replies, our recommendation would be to utilize subscripts, which gives at least a bit more legibility to those long lists of variables. You can use subscripts in both variable and functions names, as shown here:

We are always open to improvements, though at this point it would be a tough trade-off for us to abandon the mathematical convention of `abc` in favor of writing out `a*b*c.` Importantly, this would also be a change with the potential to break existing graphs, which we always prioritize avoiding!
