It wanted the kanji specifically. Which is weird, as that’s never been a thing it cared about. If id didn’t know better id think duolingo has been breaking a previously at least functional service
Duolingo has been pretty ass for a primary language tool esp for Japanese, but of late the app has also just become increasingly busted. I have been using it we a practice thing and I should just stop and use better things
