I made a fancy laundry sorter in a basket weave pattern with quarter sawn sapele. The top panels are sapele pommele veneer. Not so fancy to make sorting laundry fun, but fancier than sorting it on the bed. #woodworking

Oh wow that is spectacular. The basket weave pattern must have been fun to make. Did you need to steam / soften the wood before slotting it?
