What if you could use Radix in Preact without compat? And what if Radix itself became 60% smaller? And faster. What if you could have all of Radix and Preact and a router... for less than half the original size of Radix? or of React?

The fact that nested menus work, you must have changed some things about their event code as well, no? Tooltips suffer from this as well where they fire a custom event and rely on event delegation to handle it synchronously rather than mictotask debounced dom handling.

Niiiice! Release! Now!

How much code needed changing for this?

Good options for "works with vanilla Preact" UI libraries are very welcome. The React ecosystem is the main reason why someone might choose to avoid Preact when it is otherwise suitable for an application.

Let me know when this gets released! I'd love to test this.

@developit.dev Is this still in the works? I love Preact for writing high performance mobile web apps and feel Next.js is a bit over-engineered. A built-in router and basic UI (the missing piece) without React dependency would be a game changer! Is the UI available for alpha testing?

Whoop whoop! I volunteer to alpha test this 🙈
