At Devolution #5, we brought together the development journeys of three incredible games—Kingdom, Ape Out, and Hidden Folks! This unique exhibition invited visitors to step into the world of game development, exploring the creative processes and technical challenges that shape games into the final experiences we know and love. The exhibition showcased the development timelines of these games, offering a deep dive into their evolution. Visitors had the opportunity to play early prototypes, view design documents, and explore the intricate processes behind their creation. Each timeline highlighted the struggles, breakthroughs, and design decisions that made these games stand out, presenting development not as a linear path, but as a winding, iterative journey.
