This weekend would seem like a good opportunity to force all the architects and city planners behind the atrocious decision to build/rebuild the Gendarmenmarkt and Humboldt Forum without a single piece of green space with trees - to spend the full day outside in the misery that they created.

That bench in front of Humboldt is literally painful to sit on. Brought this up with Stadtentwicklung, as it was the only bench around for a minute. They replied that it's purposely painful to sit on, to discourage people from doing it. 馃檭

I remember being surprised by the complete lack of greenery when through this space three years ago. Thought it could have been a lovely space.
