Quackers comic 07-22-26 A one panel comic that begins with a caption that reads “Some computer issues require a delicate approach.” A computer sits on a desk, its internals on fire and sputtering sparks. One of the front red-lit fans looks like an eye giving a mean look to Jason. Jason is stood behind the computer, brandishing a chainsaw and sticking his tongue out in concentration. Tom stands to the other side holding a baseball bat with an angry expression. Behind him is a monitor with a red screen, and a yellow triangle with an exclamation point emblazoned on it.

Quackers comic 07-15-26 Panel 1: Tom and Jason are in the kitchen. Jason is looking perplexed while Tom gestures to the nearby table. “I got us some rice cakes to snack on,” says Tom. “Here, try one.” On the table a plate of round snacks sos alongside an orange drink on a small blue coaster. Panel 2: “Why rice cakes?” asks Jason. Enthusiastically Tom leans in. “To help with our fitness goals! They’re high fibre, low calorie, and healthier than a bag of crisps.” Panel 3: Jason is chewing while describing what he’s eating. “Hmmm… A subtle nutty flavour with a delicate aftertaste. Not my first choice of snack, but surprisingly palatable.” Tom looks on a little taken aback. Panel 4: Tom looks at Jason, arms crossed. “You do know you’re chewing on one of the drinks coasters, right?” Jason answers back nonchalantly, “Yes, it seemed the more appetising choice.”

Quackers comic 07-08-26 Panel 1: Jason and Tom are sat on the couch as Jason continues playing on his retro console. Bleary eyed and sleep deprived Jason comments “I’m down to my last life facing off against the final boss!” Panel 2: Overplayed in a panel above a shot of the games screen Jason continues. “Once I beat this foul beat I will have shown my might, and will prove to you that this last twenty hours were worth it all!” The screen has Jason’s little goat character in blue futuristic armour facing a huge green dragon in pink armour. Panel 3: We see the dragon breathing a huge gout of flames at Jason’s character. Only the little goat’s eyes can be seen through the fire engulfing him. GAME OVER hovers on the screen. Panel 4: Jason looks crestfallen and distraught. “Buh…” is all he can blurt out. Tom pats Jason on the shoulder comfortingly. “There, there,” he says. “Time for a new hobby I think…”

Quackers comic 07-01-26 Panel 1: Tom enters the living room and flicks on the light. Jason is day on the floor, game controller in hand. He squints and hisses menacingly at the bright light. “Jason?” Tom asks, disbelievingly. “Have you been up all night playing that old video game?” Panel 2: Jason refocuses on the tv, controller swinging about in concert with the game. “I’m almost at the end. The last boss is right up ahead!” “Just How long have you been playing?” asks Tom as he sits beside Jason. “Twenty hours!” Panel 3: We see Jason in close up, looking at Tom offscreen. “Why didn’t you just save the game and go to bed?!” says Tom. “There’s no saving in these old games.” replies Jason. “It’s a one-shot run to the end, no saving, no continues, no extra lives!” Panel 4: We pull back to both Jason and Tom sat on the floor. Jason hand his finger in the air As he continues. “A true test of strength, stamina, and determination!” “Not to mention gullibility…” adds Tom.
Quackers comic 06-24-26 A single panel with a more painterly look than normal. Jason, Tom, and their pet Scruffy are sat on a rock out in the moors silhouetted by the setting sun. They look out over a view of a valley in the countryside, the sun disappearing behind the distant rolling hills. Bunches of Heather grow here and there giving off a flash of purple in the light of the golden hour.
Quackers 06-17-26 Panel 1: In close up we see Jason's hand slamming a game cartridge into his old console with a loud 'CHACK'. The cart has a picture of a lion in blue armour, with sword and shield. "I think we should kick this retro gaming session off with a quick blast through 'Dungeon Champ'!" says Jason. Panel 2: Jason has a controller in hand and looks back toward Tom, who's stood looking rather unimpressed. "Y'know I was amazing at these old games as a duckling!" brags Jason. "I memorised all the secrets, the enemy attacks, and special moves." "Good to know your youth wasn't completely wasted," replies Tom, sarcastically. Panel 3: We see a shot of the game. A blocky lion knight in blue armour stands raising a sword to the sky, a pixelated background shows some ruined pillars and a city in the distance. The word 'START' floats on the screen. Panel 4: The lion knight is immediately bonked on the head by a bone thrown by a nearby skeleton enemy. 'LIFE LOST' appears on screen as the life counter ticks down. "Did you just die at the first enemy?" asks Tom. "I'm just a little out of practice is all!" rebuts Jason, testily. Panel 5: We see Jason looking very frustrated and angered as he hammers away at the controller. Behind him the words 'You Died', 'Life Lost', and 'Try Again?' overlap as he dies over and over again. 'GAME OVER' fills the panel above Jason's head. Panel 6: Jason sits leaning forward on the sofa while Tom sits on the arm. "Truly masterful," Tom comments with a wry smile. "It must have picked up some glitches with age!" says Jason. "That makes two of you." Tom retorts.

Quackers comic 06-10-26 Panel 1: Jason and Tom are in the living room. Jason's old games console sits on the coffee table surrounded by joypads and game boxes. We hear a 'da-ding' come from the TV as the logo of the console appears on the screen. Jason throws his arms up in the air in triumph. "Woohoo!" he shouts, "We finally got my old console hooked up to the TV!" Panel 2: "Now we just need to pick a game to play," says Jason as he picks up a couple of boxes from the table. "Let's see, what do we have here..." Panel 3: We see several game boxes with varying art styles and levels of quality strewn throughout the panel as Jason reads out titles from the long list of games he owns. "There's The Myth of Wanda, Yamamoto's Biscuit, Slippy Slope, Blaster Dude, Dino Fright, Pizza Boy, Pellet Panic, Lair of the Goblin, Pillow fort, Dodge That Truck!, Math Magician, Helihover, Fetch!, Box Stacker, Tea Tracker, Dumpling Defender, or Dump the Junk." Panel 4: Tom stares down at Jason - now sat on the floor - with a distasteful expression on his face as he holds a couple of the games in his hooves. "What?" asks Jason as he looks up at Tom. "We had to be a lot less picky about the kind of games we bought back then!"

Quackers comic 06-03-26 Panel 1: Jason and Tom stand in the living room staring at the coffee table. Atop the table is Jason's old games console with two controllers attached. Cables are strewn about the table, hanging from the ceiling and connected to all manner of adaptors, including an old retro looking machine with vacuum tubes. "Ok, we've managed to jury-rig a connection from my old games console to the TV." annoucnes Jason as Tom looks on, unimpressed. Panel 2: "...So with a flick of this switch..." say Jason as we see him close-up slide the console's power switch to 'ON'. Panel 3: The boys are taken aback as static flares up on the TV screen, the vacuum tubes on the odd machine glow white hot, and one of the connectors pops and fizzles with electrical discharge. Panel 4: With a 'THUNK' all the lights go off and the boys are plunged into darkness. Panel 5: "Hmmm..." ponders Jason as he looks at the now aflame adaptor on the table. "Y'know, I'm not entirely sure we got that right." he says, finishing his thought. Tom simply puts his head in his hoof in exasperation, lit by the glow of the adaptor fire.
Quackers comic 05-27-26 Panel 1: Jason odd in the living room attaching cables to his newly re-discovered childhood games console. “OK, this plugs in here, so once I connect it to the TV this old console should be…” Panel 2: “…huh…” mumbled Jason as he peers at the back of the TV and the modern hdmi ports. He holds a bizarre looking a/v plug the size of a small brick. “Didn’t account for some weird old 80’s plug out TV don’t use. Maybe I have something in my junk drawer that’ll help!” Panel 3: Jason and Tom are in the basement as Jason rifles through a set of drawers. Masses of cables, odd bits of technology, and random objects litter the place. “If we use this to connect to that adaptor and then bridge that with the cable over there…” mumbles Jason. “Why do you even have all this stuff?!” Tom asks exasperatedly, while draped in random cables, and holding various adaptors. “In case of emergencies,” replies Jason. Panel 4: Tom scowls at Jason and the pile of random bits and bobs on the countertop. “What emergency could possibly need six random charges from the 1990’s, a pocket calculator, and a golf ball?” “What if we meet a time-travelling golfer who needs help with his taxes and has to charge his phone?” Jason sincerely replies. “What?” he adds “It could happen!”

Quackers comic 05-20-26 Panel 1: Tom is sat on the living room sofa as Jason burst through the door. “Hey, look what I found on the attic!” Jason says as he brandishes a grey boxy object in front of him. “What in the Great Llama’s fluffy ear muffs is that thing?” Tom asks, bemused. Panel 2: With a great huff, Jason blows on the object. All manner of dust and cobwebs are thrown into the air and revealing black plastic underneath. Panel 3: The words “Da na na naa!” appear and the newly revealed plastic box floats above Jason’s outstretched arms. It has dental buttons and a faux wooden finish on one of the upper panels. “It’s my old gaming console from when I was a ducking!” Jason exclaims excitedly. Park 4: We see Tom on the sofa covered in dust and cobwebs and looking rather unimpressed. Seeing Tom, Jason sheepishly says “Oh! Eh-heh… It’s kinda dusty up in the attic. We should probably clean it more often.” “You don’t say?!” replies Tom through gritted teeth.
Quackers comic 05-13-26 Panel 1: Tom and Jason are in the gym. Tom leans against the wall, rosy cheeked and happily out of breath. Jason is doubled over, his break red, sweat dripping everywhere and huffing with exhaustion. Panel 2: “Eugh! Why does this exercise malarkey have to be so hard going?” complains Jason as he tries to smooth out his head feathers. Panel 3: “Oh, come on now,” begins Tom, “Just think of all the gains!“ Tom playfully nudge Jason in the arm with his elbow. Panel 4: “Oh, there are gains alright!” complains Jason. Tom looks on pitifully as Jason point to parts of his abdomen as well as behind his back with his thumb. “I’ve gained an ache here, a bit of a limp there, and a twinge somewhere in the back!”
Quackers comic 05-06-26 Panel 1: High above the tree tops we look down on a path seen through a gap in the trees. Tom is out walking Scruffy and smiling as he looks up at the trees. Jason can just snout be made out following along behind. Panel 2: Sunlight dapples Tom as we now following alongside him on the bush-lined path. “Isn’t it nice to see leaves on all the trees again now Spring is here?” we hear him muse aloud. Panel 3: With a loud and gross sniffling sound we cut to Jason. His eyes are streaming and an angry red colour. He looks miserable and his break is running. “Mah… Mah allergies!” He cries as best he can through his stuffed up beak. Panel 4: “All I see id itching an’ regret!” bemoans Jason melodramatically, his eyes even redder. Tom stands with Scruffy peering around his leg at the suffering Jason. Tom sighs and looks on sympathetically. “Well stop off for some antihistamine on the way back,” he says.
Quackers comic 04-29-26 Panel 1: We open with an author’s caption that reads “As we celebrate twenty years of our comic, we thought we’d find out what Quackers meant to our talented cast.” Jason stand before a blue background, a smile on his face and running a hand through his head feathers. “Oh so many things!” he begins. “Fame… recognition… a chance to leave my mark on the world!” Panel 2: We cut to Tom sat backstage, leaning on a table and idly browsing his phone. “A paycheque,” he says. Panel 3: Ben the tortoise goes to give his answer. “A chance to really get to grips with a character and-“ He is cut off by Sam the tiger in the background. “After work pizza parties! Wooooh!” he shouts, Greg the snake and Toby the raccoon joining in along side him. Panel 4: Another author’s note: “But what of the average reader? What does Quackers mean to them?” We see a rhino in a green hoodie recoiling in disgust. “Ewww!” He mutters. Panel 5: A female blackboard out in the countryside gives a puzzled look. “What’s a ‘Quackers’?” she asks. “Yes, we’re as popular as ever!” reads another author’s note. Panel 6: One last caption reads “As we wrap up our celebrations, how about some final words from our stars?” Jason is stood staring into his phone, mid-selfie. “Huh? Whassat?” he asks, distractedly. Tom is speaking on his phone in the background. “Yeah, this is Tom, I want a word with my agent…

Quackers comic 04-22-26 Panel 1: Jason stands on a stage behind a lectern, Tom stood off to one side. A red curtain provides a backdrop. “Many people ask us how a comic such as Quackers is really made,” begins Jason. “Our empty email inbox says otherwise,” interrupts Tom. “Shush, you!” chides Jason, trying to continue. “Allow us, dear readers, to take you on a little behind the scenes tour…” Panel 2: Jason and Tom now stand outside of a dilapidated office. ‘Quackers Writer’s Room’ is printed on the door window. “It all starts here with the ideas stage,” said Jason gesturing to the office. “This odd where our dedicated writer and artist is hard at work coming up with exciting new stories!” Snoring can be hard coming from the office. “Yes, it certainly sounds like tiring work,” says Tom, sarcastically. Panel 3: The pair are now inside a green-screen studio as Jason continues his tour. “Next we have the sound stages where much of our comic is shot. We even utilise the latest in green-screen tech to place our actors anywhere in the world!” “As long as that place looks like it was drawn by a drunk potato,” adds Tom. Panel 4: Cutting to a stage we see a line up of ducks, similar to Jason, all with various bandages up injuries. Jason’s voice sounds from offscreen “And let us introduce you to the many stunt ducks who work tirelessly to make our slapstick gags come to life!” “They cost a fortune in danger pay!” says Tom from an inserted panel. Panel 5: Jason and Tom stand before an abstract blue background for the closing comments. “I do hope you all found this little look at how our comic is made enlightening,” begins Jason. “It certainly made me question a few things,” Tom mutters. “Be sure to return for more Anniversary celebrations next time!” “If you dare,” warns Tom.
Quackers comic 04-16-26 Panel 1: Jason stands on a stage with a red curtain behind him. “As we celebrate our twentieth anniversary we thought we’d highlight the hard working cast of the Quackers comic...” He gestures toward another part of the stage. Panel 2: “…Starting with our supporting cast members!” Jason continues. Four characters stand grouped together in the stage, waving toward the audience. Jason introduces them one by one, starting with Sam, the muscular tiger, Ben the tortoise, Toby the raccoon, and Green the grass snake. Panel 3: Suddenly the curtains so closed in front of the startled extras who cry out in surprise, ducking to avoid the drapes. “But No one really cares about them,” comes Jason’s voice from offscreen. “So we’ll move onto the real stars of the show!” Panel 4: “Yes, my fans, it is I, Jason, the true star of the show! A duck simply oozing with charm and charisma!” says Jason, shoving Tom out of the way in an attempt to hog the scene. “Oof!” cries Tom as he’s pushed aside. “Yeah, much like a mould oozes slime,” he says in retaliation. Panel 5: Jason glares at Tom. “Ah, yes, let us not forget our comics other star, Tom. Always so strong and dependable… Like a load bearing wall, with the same acting skills.” Panel 6: Sam grabs Jason and Tom and hauls them offstage as the begin bickering between themselves. “I’ll have you know I’ve won awards for my acting!” tells Tom “Those weren’t awards, they were booby-prizes!” Jason responds. “Ok You two prima donnas, let’s go!” says Sam as he drags the pair away. “I could’ve been a star on the stages of Broadway!” Tom shouts. “You’re so wooden they would have used you as the stages!” Jason bellows.
Quackers comic 04-08-26 Panel 1: Jason and Tom stand on a stage. Jason stands behind a podium and a large screen behind then depicts a frame of the comic from its first year and a caption “20 Years Of Quackers!” “Welcome, everybody, to this very special edition of Quackers!” begins Jason. “This month sees the anniversary of our little comic’s first ever appearance on the Internet.” Tom scowls at his old self on screen. “Eugh! I was so oddly shaped with such beady eyes back then!” He exclaims. Panel 2: Unfazed, Jason continues. “Yes, it’s been an astonishing twenty years since Quackers debuted to the world!” “Twenty years…” Tom mutters to himself, staring blankly ahead. “What have I been doing with my life?!” Panel 3: Jason leans against the podium casually. “Over the years we have seen a lot of changes… While many things stubbornly remain the same.” Tom disparagingly gestures to the now poorly drawn, stripped back surroundings. “Yeah, like our artist’s lacklustre skills. Just look at this lousy, no effort background…” Panel 4: Jason continues on with a smile. “So prepare yourselves, our beloved readers, for a month-long celebration as we… umm… celebrate twenty years of Quackers!” “Emergency exits are to the rear, and sick bags are situated beneath your seats…” adds Tom, acerbically.

Quackers comic 04-01-26 Panel 1: Jason squints harshly, holding up an arm to shield his eyes from the intense light pouring in from offscreen “Ack! It’s so bright in here! Have the neighbours across the road left their security spot-light on again?” he asks. Panel 2: Tom, sat in the armchair, looks up from his tablet to answer. “That’s no spot-light, that’s the sun.” “Whose son?” asks Jason, confused. Panel 3: “No, no, THE sun,” Tom emphasises, walking up to Jason. “Y’know, that blazing orb of fire in the sky?” “By the Great Llama!” exclaims Jason, leaning on the windowsill and staring at the outside world in wonder. “The ancient legends were true!” Panel 4: “I know we don’t get much sun in this country,” beyond Tom in response. “But don’t you think you’re being a tad overdramatic?” “My Seasonal Affective Disorder and pasty white complexion be to differ,” replies Jason, gesturing to himself.

Quackers comic 03-25-26 Panel 1: Jason and Tom are sat in a restaurant booth. They look to a server who’s holding a credit card reader. “Your bill’s all ready for you,” she says. Panel 2: “Don’t worry, my fine fellow, this one’s on me,” says Jason, brandishing a debit card. With a smile Tom replies “Why thank you, kind sir.” Panel 3: In close up we see Jason tap his ‘Moolah’ branded debit card to the card reader. Panel 4: Tom and the server jolt back aghast as the card reader erupts in fits of raucous laughter. Jason, looking worries can only comment “Oh, that can’t be good…”

Quackers comic 03-18-26 Panel 1: Tom stands with his arm around Jason. "Happy Birthday, buddy!" Tom says cheerfully. Jason, a grin on his face replies, "Thank you! But just one little question..." Panel 2: "...Why is my Birthday cake on fire?" queries Jason as the pair look at the kitchen table, on which is a cake being consumed by a roiling blaze. "Well," Tom begins. "The sheer number of candles we need to match your age now proved to be too much for the cake and it sort of spontaneously combusted." Panel 3: Jason crosses his arms and grumpily huffs at the slight at his age.
Quackers comic 03-11-26 - 1 of 2 Panel 1: Jason and Tom are sat back in Dr Quackman’s office. The doctor stands in front of Jason holding a jar of pills. “The prognosis isn’t good, I’m afraid,” being the doctor. “You’ll have to take these pills and return for some pricey- I mean private consultations.” Panel 2: “No offence,” replies Jason in a croaky voice, “but is there a chance I could get a second opinion?” Panel 3: Dr Quackman sits down at his desk, a stern look on his face. “Well if you insist. Let me just buzz my colleague in.” The doctor presses a big red button on the desk. Panel 4: “Ah, here he comes now,” says the doctor. Tom and Jason look expectantly at the office door.
Quackers comic 09-27-06 Panel 1: Jason is sat on an examination table in Dr Quackman's office looking nervous. The doctor stands opposite and says "Look, if you're feeling nervous about the examination I think I have something that could help you relax." Panel 2: "That would be great, doc," replies Jason, wiping sweat from him brow. "I guess I am feeling a little jittery." The doctor turns away and bends down to retrieve something unseen. "I should have just the think right here..." he mutters. Panel 3: Jason looks petrified as the doctor turns back around. "Meet Dr Steve!" cries Dr Quackman, now brandishing a duck puppet on his hand, dressed in green scrubs. "Go on, say hi!" adds the doctor. "S'up." says the puppet extending a hand.
Quackers comic 03-04-25 Panel 1: Jason is sat in Dr Quackman's examination room, perched atop an examination table. The good doctor stands beside him, brandishing his reflex hammer. "OK," begins the doctor, "I'm just going to give you a little tap on the knee to test your reflexes." Panel 2: Dr Quackman lightly taps Jason on the knee with the hammer. Tom looks on, curiously, arms behind his back. Panel 3: Jason's leg jolts up with a 'sproing', his foot connecting with Tom in a most unfortunate place with a loud 'THWACK'. Tom winces. Panel 4: Tom is now doubled up on the floor, one hoof barely propping himself up on the edge of the examination table. He looks suitably troubled. Jason grabs his beak, horrified at what he's accidentally done. Dr Quackman is now stood behind the prone figure of Tom. "Yes, reflex testing is much like lighting fireworks..." he says. "You do so at arms length, and be prepared to run out of harm's way!"

Quackers comic 02-25-26 Panel 1: Jason and Tom are sat in the doctor’s consulting room looking at Dr Quackman. “While you’re here we may as well give you a thorough checkup to see if you’re roadworthy,” says the doctor to Jason. Panel 2: Dr Quackman stands by Jason, a small reflex hammer in hand. “How about we start by testing those reflexes of yours,” he begins. “But first I should let you know that my free will be five-thousand pounds.” Panel 3: Both Jason and Tom look aghast, Jason holding a hand to his brow in shock. “HOW MUCH!?!” They cry in unison. Panel 4: “We’ll you passed the cognitive reflex test with flying colours,” says Dr Quackman, jovially. He leans over Jason who is hyperventilating in his chair and clutching his chest. “How about we move onto the physical ones?” Tom looks on at Jason concernedly while Jason continues to wheeze

Quackers comic 02-18-26 Panel 1: Tom and Jason are in a doctor’s office. Jason is sat in one of the consulting Tom’s chairs, Tom is stood with his hooves on the backs of the chairs. Jason’s duck doctor is stood by his desk. “So what appears to be the issue?” asks the doctor. “Well, Dr Quackman,” says Tom, “Jason is suffering from a lingering sore throat after a bad cold.” Panel 2: “Oh my, that does sound like a problem,” comments the doctor. “Oh, not really. It’s the quietest he’s been in months,” replies Tom. Jason gives a very croaky and indignant “Hey!” whole glaring at Tom. Panel 3: “Alrighty, let’s take a look in there, shall we?” says Dr Quackman, producing a cylindrical device with red tips. “That’s an odd looking light-pen,” comments Tom. “Light-pen?” Questions the doctor. “Oh no, those tons are far too expensive and unreliable!” Panel 3: “Around here we use signal flares!” Dr Quackman exclaims excitedly, brandishing the flare in the air. “Much more effective and way more fun to use!” Panel 5: “Now open wide!” says the doctor, closing one eye and taking aim with the flare at Jason’s beak. Jason backs away deeper into the chair and Tom dives for cover beyond the other as the doctor continues. “You may feel a slight burning sensation, but that perfectly normal…”
Quackers comic 02-09-22 Panel 1: Several images of Jason looking unhappy capture the mood of a narration box that reads: "When I'm feeling sad, when I'm feeling down, I know I can rely on you." Panel 2: More images of Jason, this time looking happy and enjoying life. This time the caption reads: "You'll perk me up, chase away my frown! I know you'll never let me down." Panel 3: We see Jason winking seductively and pointing finger guns in the direction of Tom, who is blushing. The caption says: "You're strong and true, You're a little hottie! You're everything I need..." Panel 4: "You're coffee!" Says Jason, gleefully holding up a mug of steaming hot coffee. "What..? Hey!" says Tom, offended. He's off in the background, scowling with his arms crossed.

Jason the duck from the Quackers webcomic. It is a close up of him lying in bed suffering from a heavy cold/flu. His feathers are ruffled, his eyes half-open and horribly bloodshot. Sleep crust adorns his lower eyelids, his beak is pallid and mottled. His mouth hangs open limply, some drool forms at the corner of his cracked mouth. He looks almost zombie-like. The image is rendered in a more detailed and painterly style than the usual cell-shaded look of the comic.
