A nice big fat male deer with 4 points on his antlers. He was not afraid of me at all and I walked past him quite close. He probably grew up in the yard and has been watching me for years. I wouldn't be able to recognize him now if I saw him as a fawn.

Pecan Sandies 1 cup cassava flour 1 cup millet flour 1 cup potato starch 3/4 cup oats 1 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup butter 1 tsp almond extract 1 egg 1/4 cup sugar about 1/2 cup milk Combine dry ingredients, stir with a fork Combine wet ingredients, beat until smooth. Add dry to wet a little at a time until the texture is just right and there is a little bit of dry left in the bowl. Roll into balls and roll in the dry mixture. Put the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and press to flatten a little bit Bake 12-15 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
