so justin alexander posted a big long blog post filled with timelines, clarifications, and apologies. you know what he didn't do? get rid of "xandering". his new post is just a smokescreen to distract from that. the discourse around this has somehow gone from being about alexander rewriting history to credit himself instead of a trans woman to now being about whether or not jennell was okay with people using the term "jaquaysing" (she was, but we already knew that) im glad the relatively minor issue of alexander vaguely implying jennell didnt approve of the term "jaquaysing" is cleared up, but the bigger issue that he's still trying to center himself instead of jennell in all future conversations about nonlinear map-making is still unresolved
