I'll be writing postmortems of Ludum Dare later. Those designing a #NewLD, here's a pattern I want to share: How Theme Slaughter results tend to look, sorted by votes. Red/orange match previous themes or are nearly identical to them. Yellows are very similar to a higher rated theme. #LDJam

The trouble with the yellows they are opinions. In a Ludum Dare context, IMO "Reflect" and "Mirror" are alike. However as ideas, IMO they are distinct. Example: A mirror reflects, but "to reflect" doesn't require a mirror. LD Themes are explored. You deconstruct them to find inspiration. #LDJam
