Happy 30th to the Nintendo 64, which launched in Japan on this day in 1996! It would arrive in the Americas in September, where it would see more success than in its homeland. As a Rare kid, no console has ever meant as much as the N64! (Four of its 10 bestselling games were developed by Rare.)
