Gideon Ornstone, the reluctant protagonist. An anthropmorphic fox and the setting's equivlent to a "red mage." Reynardine/Fox. Scholars Guild, Rank: Codifier. Wields a Stylo and Ink Pot in conjuction with his Tableau. Gideon is an "Engrammateur," he uses a specialized pen and Azure dreived ink to cast spells. His tableau helps him track "latitices" (which take the form of trigrams, pentagrams, septagrams, and enneagrams) and utilizing SacredGrammar he can alter physics. In essence, cast spells. He has a rasperry danish inspired color palette and in the hypothetical video game his Tableau would function as a diagetic UI interface.

Gideon Ornstone. An anthropmorphic fox utilizing Engrammatics and Sacred Grammar to cast a "Freeze Shot" spell. Born to a family of illustrious and legendary Seekers. His father died in pursuit of the legendary treasure XERON, and in his grief Gideon turned away from his family legacy. Gideon took up Scholarly pursuits at The Academy, studying Engrammatics (a glyphic programming language that utilizes an ethereal alien substance called "Azure" to manipulate physics). After his brother, Lucas, is lost on a Dive in search of the same legendary treasure, Gideon returns home for the first time in years for the funeral. Only for a messenger drone to crash the funeral, a message from the deceased no less. Coordinates, an urgent message, Lucas found it, and he's still alive somewhere in the ruins below the floating cities. The drone, however, is keyed to communicate with Lucas' teenaged daughter, Amelia. And only Amelia. Suddenly the key to locating a legendary treasure, Ameila is thrust into danger and a notorious Sky Pirate kidnaps Amelia. Gideon takes up the Seeker mantle, recruiting several of his friends to his crew, and chases after her. #ocart #furryart
