Lodge is a Nazi, Fred is friends with a Nazi, but should we just be saying "Eastern Orthodox are Nazis?" That kind of smells like "Orthodox Jews are Zionists" or "Shiite Muslims are terrorists" It's not as incorrect as just saying "all Jews/Muslims/Christians" but it does stereotype.
