Alone all week, decided to watch the Lego Batman movie. Quit watching when the scene where he's not happy about watching a movie alone made me not happy to be watching a movie alone.

With Clover planning on leaving for work for the next week, I wanted to use the schedule disruption to do a quick week-long game jam. But then I slept on my shoulder wrong. Pizza recipe: apply these to pizza dough in order: cheese, very small amount of ranch dressing, mushrooms, cheese, very small amount of ranch dressing, pepperoni (chopped) - Finely chopped pepperoni is almost unheard of but I swear by it. - Bake at 425 for 20 minutes.
I eventually figured it out. Explanation below alt text: 1. Cheap mobile merge game for dopamine. 2. To incentivize hoarding, you get more of a higher tier resource when you convert higher numbers of a lower resource. 3. But what madness did they use to decide payouts. Why does no number yield seven? 4. Mobile games are legitimately causing me harm. (I deleted all of them) Explanation: * 5->2: This would naturally be the reward for 6, but if it were, you would have no reason to save past 3. So they discount the cost to 5. * 8->3: This is not a special discount number. It's just a combination of 5 (gives 2) + 3 (gives 1). * 9->4: The next discount mark would be 10, two 5's, but if they just left it at that, nobody would have any reason to save until 10 over just cashing out on every 5. So how they pulled the cost back from 6 to 5, they pulled the cost back from 10 to 9. * 12->5: similar to 8, this reward is just the previous + 3 * 14->6: is 5+5+5, with cost pulled back for the same reason as 5 and 9. * 17->8: This is just the previous +3, AND the 5 rule combined, because 18 will be 9+9. * 20->9: Previous + 3 again * 22->10: This one is like a +3 situation but for being 5 more than the PREVOUS previous, 17. They're the numbers you choose if you want hoarding to always be optimal.

For valentines day, Clover went on a nice walk with me. Saw a really poorly constructed trail. Got dinner at a thai place. Later, asked Clover if she'd go on a walk to the top of the hill with me. Starting to feel like car engines burn my energy as fuel. For every bit the driver isn't 100% focused on driving, I feel like I have to make up the difference. We walked around downtown porltand taking photos. Some coffee eventually helped. Tonight I looked up at Orion and decided to identify the star at the tip of his arrow. I know this isn't the classic constellation. I like mine more. It was Jupiter. I expected a planet because it didn't twinkle the way stars do. - So I asked why planets don't twinkle and the internet consensus seemed to be that it was due to their distance. Even our best telescopes see stars as nothing but pin points of light. Some could swallow Jupiter's entire orbit and they're just so far away that they appear dim. So I looked up again, now interpreting brightness as proximity. The universe was 3D. And I was smaller than I'd ever been. #furryart #webcomics #autobio

Solution: build a Crusher (create mod) to turn gravel into sand. - The recipe for a crusher is ridiculously large. "Lets start here. Took a short midnight walk. Thought about how differently everything must look to animals without the context of how this place was constructed. There were two young coyotes on the road.
