Took me a while to get into but eventually I was won over by all the Ridley Scott silliness. I respect having a bunch of evil gay guys in your movie in 2024. I liked the McPoyle emperors and their monkey. Denzel Washington as a mischievous bisexual. Pedro Pascal does a funny voice in parts which I liked. Irishman Paul Mescal helps found a republican army. So many moments where you can tell Ridley Scott doesn't care what actually happened "back then" and I love that.
