Ironically, Bluesky allows 2000 characters for alt text. Which seems absolutely backward, in my mind. To me the "alt" would seem to refer to the "alt" attribute of an HTML img tag, and two thousand characters seems like a lot for an HTML tag attribute. Oh, by the way, this is an SVG image of my logo, which is a stylized D and R composed upon a pentagram.
