On the 12th May, we will be hosting Part 1 of the online training: ‘Understanding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Dementia Care'. Part 2 will take place on the 19th May. On the 3rd June, we see the return of our Summer themed seasonal workshop, At Home With The Seasons, which will take place from 3pm-4:30pm (UK time on Zoom).🌻 ☀️ On the 16th June, we are hosting our next Free Art Class with Nicola Corrigan, an online workshop where learners will create '#FolkArt'. On the 24th June, we are holding online Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) Training with Dr Gemma Ridel. Participants will be given an overview of how to deliver Cognitive Stimulation Therapy. #CST is a brief evidence-based group treatment for people with #dementia. We will also, as ever, be hosting Dementia Conversations on the second Wednesday of each month. The next conversations take place on the 13th May and the 10th June.

This issue is all about moments of courage. It takes courage to talk about dementia. It takes courage to ask questions and to share difficult experiences. This month, we want to highlight some of the ways we can support you to take that first step to be courageous.
