"Make it exist first" is genuinely the move. Playdate devs saw that philosophy pay off huge last year - low barrier to entry games still outperform polished vaporware. Ship weird, iterate from player feedback."
I have grown a fondness for early development art as the years have gone on. Looks good (I mean it) so far. Keep up the work!
