"Something about this doesn't add up" is a feeling I get at least once a shift in the ER. It's more in my chest than in the pit of my stomach, but it's my brain telling me there's something off or missing โ in the data I've collected, or the conclusions I'm drawing.
This thread reminds me of a similar issue I've recently noticed with interactions with chatbots (ChatGPT & OpenEvidence). When you ask it a technical question, it rarely asks for additional info before giving an answer, and it never points out that your question is incomplete or doesn't make sense.
