Dear professor Robinson, I hope this email finds you well！ I mainly wanted to write to say how deeply grateful I am for everything you have done over the years. Whether it was every class you taught, every assignment you graded, or every thoughtful piece of feedback you gave me, I truly feel that being able to meet you at Mount Holyoke has been something both lucky and precious. I think you know that Name and I took two of your classes together, Animal Cognition and Animal Personality. She also took Animal Welfare with you during the semester when I was studying abroad in London. If I had been in the U.S. last semester, I probably would have taken that class with her as well. Although I have never had much opportunity to talk with you and did not speak up very often in class, Name and I have always really liked you. When we chat privately after class, we often mention you, and you are probably the professor we talk about the most. When we were taking Animal Cognition, Name and I said multiple times that we hoped Mount Holyoke would give you a tenure, and we even included that in our very long wishlist for 2025. Name and I will always remember you as one of the best parts of our college life, after we leave Mount Holyoke ourselves, after we leave Massachusetts, or even the United States.
