Comment: I am an ob-gyn. I have cared for patients, including pregnant patients, severely ill with COVID, many of whom had no pre-existing conditions. COVID vaccination decreases the risk for hospitalization and mortality. It is incredibly short-sighted to decrease its availability for anyone who wants to protect themselves. I think you all know that these vaccines are safe and the abundance of data shows that they are. The FDA engaging in politically motivated fear-mongering about vaccines is shameful and counter to the mission of the agency.
