Main issue with that RD News Now story and most other reporting on this study is they ignore the conflicts of interest. Yesterday's CBC piece mentioned them but didn't explain. Why focus narrowly on methodology when it's clear the authors had no business publishing on this? Media need to step up.

Seems very common with mainstream Alberta media. Like when reporting on AER. With the Wyant report reporting, omit the fact that Wyant was very restricted and no UCP MLA nor Dani etc were interviewed. I would assume they refused.

Interviewing the Streets Alive Mission without explaining that its private treatment programming is "Christ-centred" (meaning evidence-free) and just happens to fit the UCP christonationalist agenda perfectly? We have a big problem here. streetsalive.ca/genesis-wome... www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
