David Sherret @dsherret.dev · Oct 25 The current Deno 2.0.2 outputs 104 MB after 60s, so this is about a 33% reduction from that. The new savings come from more efficient memory management of the module sources.

It also uses less memory than Bun on Mac and Linux, but the difference is less pronounced (95.59 MB vs 121.64 MB on Mac, 105.70 MB vs 137.55 MB on Linux) On Windows the binary size Deno outputs is 96 MB and Bun outputs 120 MB. We're slowly working on getting it lower.
