We cannot solve a crisis using the same approaches that created it. This was the core message from Prof. Neven Duić, Co-Chair of the EASAC Energy Steering Panel, during a conference hosted by the Institute of Energy for South-East Europe (IENE) at the European Parliament on March 19, 2026.
According to the IAP report “Towards gender equality in scientific organizations” (2026), only 6,9% (67 out of 976) Nobel laureates have been women (1901-2025).
