Due to side lighting, they exhibit varying shades of gray, some light, some dark. Within this "tunnel," trash cans are lined up in a row, stretching all the way to the back. The clean, uniform lines give the scene a somewhat surreal quality. Various simple graffiti tags are applied to the concrete elements.
