A deerfolk named Lisa treading cautiously through the forest in her green garb. A harsh glare is thrown to her side, a blade in one hand and an idle bow in the other. A survivor’s instincts.
Forester, a friend’s sona who’s a dragon composed of a forest-themed body, mountain right hand, desert left hand, volcano right leg, tundra left leg, and twin sea tails. Some sand gathers around his left arm, outstretched behind him as he smiles confidently amidst sunlight breaking through a cloudy sky.
Forget-Me-Not, a tiefling investigator, takes a moment to confer with her tabaxi butler Reginald. Have to keep your notes straight somehow.

Aboard some form of transportation, brothers Jackson (left, with long hair covering his face with a small patch of blue dyed on the end of the swathe over his right eye) and Christopher (right, with a black cap and business casual wear sporting a watch and belt) have a chat with one another. After all that life can bring, sometimes a moment to just talk with the people close to you is all the blessing you need.
I do love to see the dawn, to see the light and bask in its radiant glow instead of the cold of dusk. But when it comes down to it, I prefer sacrificing those bright mornings To losing those silent nights.
Why do I stay up at night? I used to go along with the idea that it was simply because it’s peaceful. But I think there’s a more apt description.
What I think is a gray fox (I’m not sure) yoinking food intended for a local black cat. On a bench lay some poor soul’s earbuds, left behind at the mercy of the elements as they await the return of their owner- or the theft of a passing person.
A series of text messages saying: “If your heart feels heavy” “That just means it’s made of gold” And faded texts: “I think you have a heart like that” “And I’m here if you ever need me, okay?” With the last one being partially cut off and the most distorted. Beside them is an anthropomorphic wolf checking his phone, wearing a blue t-shirt and a gold chain necklace. A faint heart shape is visible over his chest. The second panel reads: “A heart of gold…?” “I’m sorry,” “I think you’re wrong.” Beneath the words “I’m sorry,” there is a golden heart-shape being overcome by a vaguely real-heart-shaped gray mass, leaving only some of the left half of the heart still golden and round. The text messages are paraphrases of numerous statements from friends and family

Delicately propped up in that left hand is a small spellbook, decorated with gold patterning matching the eight- pointed star symbol upon the back of her half-cloak: four smaller points between each of the four primary points, the lower of which extends far down from the rest.

He wears a dark blue jacket with a wool-lined hood, and a much darker blue pants pulled over gray boots and light gray mittens. A pair of blue/purple colored goggles hang around his neck, and his skis and poles (dark gray and purple) are shoved partially into the snow to hold them in place beside him. Alongside them is a drink, tucked into the snow to cool it off. This ensemble rests to the side of a slope, leading down to a lodge in the distance with snow atop its roof and icicles hanging off its edges. Mountains and clouds obscure the horizon, and trees dusted with snow litter the area just behind the character and the lodge in the distance. A light snowy wind blows, ever so slightly obscuring the view.

A cat sleeps on an open laptop’s keyboard. Its screen is dark, alongside a small stack of messy note paper and a pen. An abandoned chair compliments the idle equipment upon the desk, whoever was usually inhabiting it missing from the scene. You think about how boring Jack’s walls are… but what were you hoping to find? Maybe you’ll give Archie a little pet on the way out.
