I have YouTube playing a copy of the original video in the background providing audio. It's synced surprisingly well! At one point the camera pans left enough for you to see the code running on the E290: inside a loop over each pixel, we get the next RLE value and call display.drawPixel(), then at the end of the frame we wait a variable amount depending on how long the earlier loop took.

Imagine the roughness of the chiseled food as your fingers run over it, you feel the edge grain as angled slabs have been torn off, but — even though it could happen — you feel safe knowing pieces won't tear off, splinters won't enter your fingers and require delicate precision to remove. Matsubara is known for working in a style that emphasizes the physical qualities of the wood, and the hard-edged, high-contrast texture in this abstract print is striking.
